JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Service Manager position within the CPM packaging group company. Reporting to the VP of Aftermarket.

This position is an essential role for the business and focuses heavily on the customer experience.  Providing leadership and management of the multi disciplined Field Service Team and liaising with customers on sites around the world.

The role requires a strong, people manager with experience of managing a field service team in a technical environment, a critical thinker with a can do attitude and sound commercial acumen

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • People and resource planning.
  • People management
  • Conflict resolution.
  • Support the VP of Aftermarket to develop aftermarket revenue streams and maximise productivity.
  • Daily Management of the Field Service Team.
  • Understand customer needs and have the ability to resolve issues through knowledge and collaboration with other business Stakeholders
  • Manage and prioritize workload to ensure that assigned activities are completed effectively and on time.
  • Understand, comply with and promote our client's strong quality and HSE culture.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Essential

  • Extensive experience in a continuous production, environment or service industry.
  • Management of a Global Service team.
  • Knowledge of computers and applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Time, Resource and Budget Management experience
  • Experience of managing complex Projects
  • Experience of Managing Subcontract Resource
  • Experience of Global Service Delivery
  • Senior level Presentation & communication skills
  • A sound understanding site safety, working at height, confined spaces, etc. RAMS

 

Desirable

  • Experience of working with Burners and thermal engineering preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SCADA, PLC advantageous 
  • Working knowledge of air flow and fan systems preferable
